The CFIS 2002 workshop on Language and Motor Integration: Neuroimage and Computational Modeling is a three day event which is part of a month-long programme of activities exploring new frontiers at the intersections of neuroscience, cognitive
science and computational modelling. The workshop will bring together scientists with experimental, and computational approaches in language and motor functions. The chief aim of the workshop is to discuss what we can learn about language and motor integration by fusing functional imaging data to computational models of brain function, with particular references to the neuronal underpinnings of basic language and motor processing.
We would like to thank the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Medical Research Council, and the Institute of Adaptive and Neural Computation for sponsoring the conference.
Workshop Proceedings are going to be published as special issue of Brain and Language .
