Research Interests

My research project is related to studying the molecular basis of neural homeostasis and modelling the interactions between neural  homeostasis and different forms of neural plasticity, by combining computational genetics and neuroscience techniques. In particular the project focuses on the development of neural models which combines different forms of plasticity and influences from genetic and chemical expression. The research aims to contribute to a better understanding of how genetic expression interacts with electrical activity and how alterations in homeostasis affects circuit development and refinement. 

My other interests includes auditory signal processing, music and sound processing in the brain, artificial intelligence, machine learning and computational modelling in complex systems.
